Kennel Vindhause

The Vindhause Kennels was founded in 1971, where I bought my first Italian Greyhound at the Bisgård Kennels. "Anika" was a little fawn bitch sired by Sobers Valetto and out of the british bred Thane Quality Street. The first litter born in The Vindhause Kennels did arrive in January 1973, there was 3 males and 2 bitches out of Anika sired by Sobers Viro.

I have trough the years been showing a lot, and I have used many hours watching the Italian Greyhound by visiting breeders and participating in shows, and of course during the litterature I got hand on. In these ways I did learn incredible much about the breed, and I have during my consience work in breeding established the best foundation for future healthy, elegant and typical Italian Greyhounds.

The Vindhause Kennels of today is recognised by bloodlines chosen with greatest care, the breeding is built on the world famous bloodlines from the Sobers Kennels, and I have through the years supplied my breed with the very best bloodlines from the Il Piccolo Azzuro Kennels and the Il Cagnolino Kennels.

The results of my breeding has become, what I have been working for all the years in The Vindhause Kennels, the very best combination of TYPE, ELEGANCE and HEALTHNESS. Only breeding towards these three qualities has it been possible for me to maintain the healthy, strong and elegant Italian Greyhounds, within the bloodlines used for more than thousands of years.

Italian Greyhounds bred by The Vindhause Kennels has been exported to a lot of countries, you can find them of course in Denmark but also in Norway, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, France, Austria, Poland and Schwitzerland. The results of showing by The Vindhause kennels has given a lot of top results, many winning titles and at least 75 CHAMPIONS including a lot of INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS.
